Heather was born with a passion to fly. She completed her private pilot certificate in 2000, but took a hiatus when she moved east in pursuit of career and family. She returned to the skies in 2012 and has been flying with Dave ever since.
A native Midwesterner, Heather seeks out the big sky vistas easily achieved when flying low and slow. With this 170, she hopes to pursue some new flying dreams including flying to backcountry airfields around Utah and taking her daughter on their own manifest destiny with the great American flying adventure.
In the meantime, she'll continue to leisurely work toward her instrument rating, and attend every local pancake breakfast flyin, visit every local airplane museum, and attend every aerial pumpkin bombing contest she can get to.
But, first, she must learn to fly this taildragger!
